Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - 1995 Ferrari Formula 1 car hits Monza race track [video] - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

k [video]

An incredible Ferrari F1 car from 1995 recently visited the Monza circuit in Italy, during the Ferrari Corse Clienti event.
This machine is equipped with a 3.0-liter V12 engine which sounds absolutely fantastic on track. The 412 T2 was designed by John Barnard and Gustav Brunner, while Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger were some of the notable drivers to use it. Later in the year Michael Schumacher tested the car and declared it is "good enough to win a world championship”.

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Ferrari 412 picks up a teak cargo bed - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

This Ferrari 412 Is Sporting a Custom Wood Truck BedImage via London Motor Group
Ferrari has gone on record saying it would never make a sedan or SUV. We're pretty sure that nobody in the company ever even considered that a Ferrari pick-up could ever be a thing.
The mad scientists at the London Motor Group, which owns the London Motor Museum and the London Supercar Workshop, took an '80s Ferrari 412, removed the trunk and rear seats, and replaced them with this teak truck bed. Yup, this is a perfectly executed Ferrari ute.
In addition to the truck bed, LMG also added a tacky hood scoop, variable exhaust, and a Banf and Olufsen sound system. The 4.9L V12 remains, unmodified, in its place of honor.

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Video: Ferrari 458 Challenge Evo Driven At The Sonoma Circuit - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

Although it hasn’t been developed as a road-legal car and very few people have access to it, the Ferrari 458 Challenge Evoluzione will always enchant us by putting all of its racing skills to good use on the track.
Whether it’s being hooned in the Challenge series or simply enjoyed by a customer on any course located inEurope or the United States, the 458 Evoluzione is a joy to watch - especially in race livery - and hear.
With 562 horsepower coming out of the 4.5-liter, V-8 engine, the 458 Challenge sounds like a proper, track-prepped sports car should and reminds us that the Italians haven’t forgotten about Enzo’s main dream — delivering the ultimate race car .
Built to 2014 Challenge specifications, the new 458 Challenge has already made its debut in the series in January, at Daytona, while the second race took place earlier this month at the Sonoma Raceway in California. Ferrari used this recent event to put together an awesome video with the race car lapping the track with Conrad Grunewald behind the steering wheel.
In case you’re wondering, Grunewald is the coach of Ferrari of Huston and a Formula Drift driver, meaning he’s more than qualified to drop the hammer on the 458’s gas pedal. The interesting thing about the video is that the pilot is also offering a brief tutorial on how to approach each and every curve on the Sonoma track in terms of speed and gearing. Enjoy!

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Ferrari Enzo Rips Manic Donuts - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

Just one awesome moment at the Vmax200 Hypermax festival.

Last weekend, the outrageously awesome Vmax200 Hypermax festival of speed brought together some of the world’s coolest supercars and hypercars for a few joyous hours filled with racing and high-speed revelry. Our friend Shmee150 was lucky enough to be there, and even luckier to get onboard this stupendous Ferrari Enzo. First, the car reportedly hit 195 mph on the runway, then came back to do some mouthwatering donuts around the airfield’s planes.

Check out this awesome donut lunacy:

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Watch The Greatest Mid-Engined Car Drift - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

If someone were to ask you what the greatest mid-engined car is you might answer that it's a Ferrari 355, a Lamborghini Countach, or maybe even an Audi R8. Well, you'd be wrong. It's this, the Toyota Previa.1P
Mid-engine? Check. Five-speed manual? Check. Rear wheel drive or four wheel drive? Check. Supercharger? Check. Family hoonmobile? Check.P
To be fair, not all of those options could have been had together. For example, the manual was only offered between 1991-1993 and the supercharger was introduced in 1994 to better compete with the V6 offerings in other minivans. Still though, you could have one with a manual and four wheel drive, which basically makes this an Audi R8P
The Previa wasn't well regarded in its time, wasn't exactly safe, and didn't sell well but those mid-nineties minivan buyers totally missed the point. Sure, the Caravan/Voyager/ Town & Country were more sensible, but who needs that? Have you ever seen one of those drifting on a dry track? Didn't think so.P
Just look at this Previa go, joyously converting its tires into smoke, with the commander of this majestic steed hanging his arm out the window with pride. Such grace. Such style. Such panache. P
Toyota Previa: the Ferrari F355 of Minivans.

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - 80's Legends: Ferrari Testarossa & Lamborghini Countach - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

For those who don't require dual-clutches, electronic stability control, or any other driver's aids.
For anyone who grew up in the late 1980s and into the early 90s, there were only a few supercars out there that really mattered. Their posters were plastered to our bedrooms walls. We built plastic models of them, and dreamed that perhaps one day ownership will happen. The Ferrari Testarossa and Lamborghini Countach, to this day, serve as reminders of when supercars only came with manual gearboxes.

They were also void of electronic driving aids, and weren’t meant to be driven unless one had serious experience behind the wheel. Both were complicated machines, yet they rewarded those who learned how to master and tame them. There was no traction control, electronic stability control, or ABS brakes to save your ass. You were pretty much on your own. And that, aside from their iconic designs, is what made them truly special. Those fortunate enough to buy a Testarossa or Countach today are often times fulfilling their childhood dream. If only we could all be so lucky.

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Ferrari Enzo Donuts? Ferrari Enzo Donuts - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

My favorite donuts used to be the custard-filled ones, but after today I can safely say that Ferrari Enzo donuts are even more delicious. P
This video comes to us from our pal Tim, aka Shmee150, who attended the Vmax200 Hypermax festival of speed in the UK this weekend. Lots of supercars and hypercars, lots of drag races, lots of high speed runs, various acts of generalized insanity, etc. Good times were had by all.P
Tim says this Enzo hit 195 mph on the runway and then went out back to rip some sick, smoke-filled donuts, which you can see around the 1:45 mark. There are a ton of other videos from the event on his YouTube channel, so be sure to check 'em out.

Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Ferrari LaFerrari XX spy shots and details emerge - Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

Ferrari LaFerrari XX spy shots and details emerge
The Ferrari LaFerrari XX is rumoured to be a Formula One car for the road.
The Italian sports car specialist brand has confirmed it is working on a more intense and performance-oriented version of the already insane Ferrari LaFerrari, and the model seen in these spy pictures – the Ferrari LaFerrari XX – is rumoured to push its connection to Formula One even further than the regular car.
The standard LaFerrari combines a 6.3-litre V12 engine with 588kW of power and 700Nm of torque with a Formula One-derived HY-KERS hybrid system with a combined output of 708kW of power and in excess of 900Nm of torque.
However, according to reports, the LaFerrari XX will adopt a turbocharged V6 engine derived from the company’s F1 know-how – a move that would both lighten the car significantly, and could make it even faster than the standard version, which can sprint from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-300km/h in 15.0 seconds, and reach a top speed of more than 350km/h.
LaFerrari XX 6
No power figures for the turbo V6 have been made public at this point, but as with the standard version it is said to send its power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Ferrari sporting activity department chief Antonella Coletta was quoted by Top Gear as saying making the LaFerrari XX faster than the regular version would be “difficult”.
But rather than focusing on outright straight-line speed, the LaFerrari XX is expected to adopt a range of suspension changes, revisions to its electronics systems, and slick tyres. As is clear from these spy images, a number of major aerodynamics modifications will also be seen.
Our sources said the car managed some “really quick laps” around the 20.8km Nurburgring test track, and there have been suggestions it may have set a time of 6:35.
The LaFerrari XX is the third model the bear the XX nomenclature, following in the tread-marks of the FXX and 599XX.
The Ferrari LaFerrari XX is expected to be revealed in January or February 2015

"Doing so with JMW and Ferrari promises to be a very competitive experience."
