Sebastian Vettel made his first appearance for Ferrari on Saturday when he drove the 201 car at the Maranello team's Fiorano test track.
The German was not allowed to drive the current car in Abu Dhabi this week, and while there's a limit to what he could learn by running with an old V8 machine, it did at least give him a chance to get to know the team.
Vettel ran with a white helmet, albeit with some sponsors on it, and was not wearing Ferrari team gear. The car carried number five, the number he chose last winter should he not be entitled to use the World Champion's number one.
This wasn't quite Vettel's first go in an F1 Ferrari as he drove Gerhard Berger's old car in a Red Bull promotion at the Red Bull Ring earlier this year.
