Ferrari Service and Repair Bay Area - Ferrari 458 Speciale on Video - Angelo Zucchi Motorsports Sonoma - 707-334-3700

A Ferrari 458 Speciale was filmed in action stretching its V8 muscles at the Fiorano test track in Italy. This is the Italian company’s most powerful naturally aspirated V8.

As opposed to the usual red paint scheme, this time around we see the more hardcore 458 wearing a different paint scheme with blue and sky blue racing stripes. As you would imagine, that is not camouflage as the car has already been revealed in production guise earlier this month at the 2013 IAA Frankfurt Motor Show. The white film is to protect the paint against any potential damages while the car is being put through its paces.
The 458 Speciale comes with Ferrari’s most powerful V8 naturally aspirated ever made to date, a 4.5-liter developing 605 hp (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft). It can complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) jump in 3 seconds and will usually need 1m 23.5s to lap the Fiorano circuit. The latest prancing horse weighs 1,290 kg (2,844 lbs) and has received a high-performance Brembo braking system and specially developed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
