The first pictures of the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Berlinetta Lusso have surfaced online, a coachbuilt supercar based on the Ferrari F12berlinetta adopts a curvaceous new body with a retro appearance that will debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
There’s no word on specifics about the car, but it appears that virtually every body panel has been replaced. And report says that the supercar designed and developed for an unnamed private collector, with the Italian coachbuilder to produce no more than five examples total.
Touring Superleggera is restyled from the body of the F12 taking inspiration from the 1966 Ferrari 166 MM Touring.
The interior of Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Berlinetta Lusso largely carries over but we can see two-tone leather upholstery, silver trim and Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera sill plates.
The company didn’t release about technical specifications, but we know that the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta comes with a 6.2-liter V12 engine 740 HP (544 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque and the supercar engine is connected to a dual-clutch transmission which enables the Germany prancing horse car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 340 km/h (211 mph).
Pricing about the car hasn’t been released yet, but with a stock Ferrari F12 costing close to $320,000 and Touring Superleggera claiming that it needs some 5,000 man hours to complete the transformation, you can bet it’s going be one helluva expensive ride.
